In Chile Gastronomic Association (ACHIGA) will be the hosts of Santiago 2010. It is a trade organisation and the only gastronomic association recognised by the Chilean government. The Sheraton Hotel and Convention Centre was quoted as the venue, registration would cost US$1300 and staying at the Sheraton hotel costs US$180 per night. It was also highlighted that the prices quoted were the highest, and the cost will only go down from there.
